Becky Wetzler

Becky Wetzler's passion for art started at the tender age of 3, when she took a handful of crayons and colored a rainbow on the hallway wall. She never forgot the delight it brought, and has since volunteered her time to paint a mural at a youth correctional facility, as well as to co-design the interior of a small business. She also worked at the Seattle Art Museum to enhance her art history education, as well as to facilitate the appreciation of art in the community. She hopes that through the gift of art, she can bring beauty and an appreciation of higher ideals into the homes and businesses of many. 

Becky received her Bachelor of Arts degree, with a focus on graphic design, from Principia College in Elsah, IL, in June 2007. After discovering a passion for creating tactile three-dimensional art that can be experienced and functional, she then went on to pursue an Associates degree in Interior Design from Bellevue College in Bellevue, WA. She now resides in Colorado and aspires to become a full-time interior designer in both the residential and commercial industries, while continuing to create fine art for commission and to sharpen her design skills.

Becky's artistic expression ranges from photo-realistic to abstract, and she prides herself in her versatility of both the media which she uses as well as the subject matter and range of composition. She often seeks subject matter and inspiration in unusual places, always hoping to shed new light on a subject by capturing an unusual point of view. She works to translate this versatility of artistic expression and media into her interior spaces and designs. She feels that experimenting with different media and discovering new techniques enhances her love of art and design and ultimately strengthens her as an artist, no matter the result.

Awarded Interior Designer of the Year in 2016 and 2017 for highest sales and design volume with greatest customer satisfaction.

Additionally recognized by local congressman for winning two years in a row.
